CLD Physical Security Systems (CLD) has supported the National Health Service (NHS) with its innovation in healthcare logistics by securing the perimeter of its rooftop drone launch pad, securing critical operations that enhance healthcare efficiency.
The FenceSafe Dulok Lite system, installed by Perimeter Solutions Ltd on the rooftop of Guy’s Hospital, London, helps safeguard the NHS’s innovative drone project that is transforming blood sample transportation across one of the largest hospital trusts in the UK.
The NHS initiative has achieved drastic time savings, reducing blood sample delivery between Guy’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital from 30 minutes to just two minutes. By using drone technology to bypass city traffic, the NHS is setting new benchmarks for efficiency in medical logistics.
FenceSafe Dulok Lite is a reliable and versatile perimeter fencing system, offering a sustainable on-ground, temporary security solution. It provides the durability of a traditional general-purpose wire fence, creating a sturdy barrier that requires minimal maintenance.
Russell Wells, CEO at CLD said: “It has been a great opportunity to support the NHS on this project and help contribute to healthcare advancements that enhance patient care through technology.
“Our FenceSafe Dulok Lite system is designed to secure vital infrastructure, providing a reliable solution for projects that are changing operational standards and improving healthcare delivery.”
