ITS Confirms New Dagenham Store as Part of Continued UK Expansion

ITS, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of tools, workwear and equipment for trade professionals, has confirmed it will be opening a new store in Dagenham later this spring, marking another significant step in the company’s ongoing investment in physical retail.

The new branch will be located at Unit 12, Dagenham Logistics Hub, Rainham Road South, Dagenham, RM10 8LR, with an estimated opening date of ate March/early April 2026

The Dagenham store will serve tradespeople working across East London, Essex and surrounding areas, providing a convenient local destination for tools, workwear and site equipment alongside ITS’ established online offering.

Richard Hughes, Director at ITS, said the location was chosen to reflect how and where tradespeople actually work.

“Dagenham sits right at the heart of a major trade and logistics corridor,” he said.

“It’s an area with huge volumes of construction, infrastructure and industrial work, so opening a store here makes a lot of sense for both our customers and the business.”

The new branch will also create new local employment opportunities, with ITS recruiting a number of roles to support the store both at launch and as it grows. The company says it is committed to hiring locally and offering long-term progression and training within the business.

“Our stores are built around people as much as products,” Richard Hughes added.

“We’re focused on bringing in local knowledge, developing teams from the area, and building a store that genuinely supports the trades working around it.”

Unlike traditional trade counters, the Dagenham store has been designed to encourage hands-on browsing and comparison. A large proportion of stock will be available on open display, allowing customers to explore products properly rather than relying solely on catalogue ordering.

Tradespeople visiting the store will be able to get hands-on with a wide selection of leading brands, including Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita and Bosch, supported by dedicated branded areas and product specialists. The store will also stock workwear, storage solutions, hand tools and site essentials such as electrical and landscaping equipment.

“There’s a real difference between seeing a tool on a screen and actually picking it up in person,” Hughes said.

“We want customers to be able to walk in, find things they didn’t know existed, compare options side by side, ask questions, and leave confident they’ve bought the right kit for the job.”

The store will also offer click and collect services for online orders, helping tradespeople reduce downtime by collecting tools locally rather than waiting on site deliveries.

ITS says the Dagenham opening reflects a long-term commitment to serving the region rather than a short-term expansion.

“This isn’t about opening stores for the sake of it,” Richard Hughes said.

“It’s about putting branches where they genuinely add value. Dagenham allows us to better support trades across East London and Essex with faster access, better choice and real in-person support.”

The ITS Dagenham store is expected to open in late March/early April 2026, with further details on launch activity, opening offers and local engagement to be announced closer to the date.
