LEADING paving and building manufacturer AG has created several new jobs in response to the heightened demand across the domestic and commercial sectors, including James Jack who has been promoted to GB Sales Director.
This is a brand-new role for the company as AG looks to grow sales throughout the region.
James Jack was previously Head of Sales for Scotland with over 20 years’ of experience in the construction industry. James has previously held senior sales positions at Tobermore, Jewson and Keyline.
As GB Sales Director, he will be responsible for creating and implementing AG’s sales strategy across GB markets as well as developing the GB sales team. James will drive further growth and solidify AG’s position as a leader in paving and building products throughout England, Scotland & Wales.
Spearheaded by CEO, Stephen Acheson, the family-run business has been at the leading edge of hard landscaping and building solutions for more than 60 years, providing world-class products and services to architects, specifiers, contractors, merchants and homeowners across the UK and Ireland.
AG recently invested £5 million into its operations to enhance internal processes and cope with increasing customer demand – including purchasing cutting-edge machinery to boost performance efficiency and improve Health & Safety standards.
Earlier this year AG launched a new range of practical and affordable flagstones that have been specifically engineered to be accessible without compromising AG’s premium quality.
AG’s Crescent and Lastra flagstones are the first of several cost-effective products that will complement AG’s well-established, premium offering across paving, walling, kerbing and brick, highlighting their ability to cater to ‘Every Project, Every Time’.
