The Construction Industry Training Board NI (CITB NI) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) recently partnered on the CIOB & CITB NI Student Achievement Awards. The awards celebrate success of the achievements of local students in professional CIOB and NVQ exams throughout the recent training year.
The awards are an acknowledgement of all those who have continued with their studies and committed to their qualifications whilst working full time.
Peter Campbell from Brannigan Associates was presented with the Best Overall Performance Award for his outstanding results in the Chartered Membership Programme in achieving both the highest marks in Ireland and overseas and was 2nd in the world.
David Bolton, Project Manager, Belfast Transport Hub spoke in depth on the project, its development and plans.
Barry Neilson OBE , Chief Executive CITB NI, who presented students with their certificates said:
“ CITB NI partner with CIOB annually on this event, it is great to see students and professionals come together to celebrate success and learn about ongoing key projects. Congratulations to each and every one of the award winners have invested in themselves, their companies and the local construction industry and they are each to be commended. It takes hard work and commitment to study whilst continuing with the day job.”
