Alskea, a leading home builder in Northern Ireland, is proud to announce that its site manager, Cathal Brannigan, has been honoured with a top award for house building quality at the recent NHBC ‘Pride in the Job Supreme Awards’ in London.
Cathal was recognised for his exceptional work at Oakfield Park in Newtownabbey, a project that illustrates Alskea’s commitment to excellence in house building. Competing against over 8,000 entrants from across the UK, Cathal won in the medium builder category, marking him as the only winner from Northern Ireland at this prestigious event.
It is also the first time any house builder in Northern Ireland has won the medium builder category.
The Pride in the Job Supreme Awards, organised by the National House Building Council (NHBC), is the most esteemed competition in the UK house-building industry. Now in its 43rd year, the awards celebrate the highest standards in the sector, covering England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man.
Judges assess each site manager across six key areas, including consistency, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise, and health and safety. This recognition places Cathal amongst the best site managers in the UK, highlighting his dedication to building homes of outstanding quality.
