NEW CONTRACT: Sam Thompson joins the Waterline team in Contract Designer role

LINE OF DUTY: Waterline has over £7million of kitichen stock spread over three warehouses

WATERLINE, the UK’s largest supplier to the kitchen trade, has expanded its talent pool with the appointment of Sam Thompson to the role of Contract Designer.

Providing valuable support to the distributor’s contract customers, Sam will support its regional sales managers with the design of kitchens, bedrooms & home office layouts.

Sam has a wealth of experience to bring to her new role, having been in the KBB industry for 19 years in a career that has spanned across retail, merchants and manufacturers, working with B2B and B2C clients both in house and area sales.

Her training is just as extensive, with Sam having untaken industry-related courses including the ‘kitchen design course’ led by Renee Mascari and completing the FdA in Kitchen Design led by Johnny Grey and Craig Matson.

Sam joins Waterline from Huws Gray where she was responsible for looking after accounts for building materials nationally. Before this she was a team leader for the national showroom design team at Buildbase, looking after and developing business from its national kitchen and bathroom accounts.

Commenting on her new role as Contract Designer for Waterline, Sam said: “I am incredibly excited to have started my journey with Waterline; everyone has been so welcoming and it’s great to join such a brilliant supportive team.

“I am incredibly passionate about KBB design and enjoy working with developers and builders. I’m very much looking forward to applying my prior knowledge to my new position and contributing to the company’s success in the contract department.”
