LEICHT Contracts, a leader in the design and supply of premium German kitchen furniture for the new build and regeneration construction market appoints Steve Northwood, as the company’s new Head of Sales, to identify prime development opportunities and drive top-line growth.
Steve’s appointment will begin on 26 May 2026, and further support the recent management changes at LEICHT Contracts to positively align company sales activity with long-term growth plans, which are specifically driven by increased residential development opportunities and future project wins throughout the UK contract kitchens sector.
Steve accepts the role of Head of Sales at LEICHT Contracts, having held a series of key senior sales positions within the construction and contract market. With extensive knowledge of the construction sector, Steve holds over 18 years’ experience working with global manufacturers of residential and commercial building products, and leading suppliers for quality UK developments, all centred around the design and supply of custom fitted furniture in the luxury home.
Assuming the role of Head of Sales at LEICHT Contracts, Steve has held a series of other key senior positions within the UK construction and contract market. Tasked with identifying, researching, and engaging potential new customers and leads for volume projects, Steve will oversee every element of the sales journey at LEICHT Contracts going forward.
Steve says, “I am excited to make a difference with a great brand and business, which is already on track for a hugely successful year by establishing a strong project pipeline, alongside various contracted works in progress. Concentrating on London and the home counties, my aim is to nurture existing relationships, and exponentially grow fresh prospects and turnkey development opportunities across the new build and regeneration construction market.”
In accepting this senior sales role, Steve will also facilitate key operational and strategic support to Matt Goddon, who has driven business growth since his appointment to Managing Director of LEICHT Contracts in January 2026.
